Group Therapy
Managing Emotions for ages 18+
I currently facilitate a DBT style group called Emotion Regulation Skills. This is a structured, skills-based group focused on helping individuals better understand and manage their emotional experiences. Rather than primarily processing emotions, this group emphasizes learning practical tools to respond more effectively to emotional challenges in everyday life.
Drawing from the emotion regulation module of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), participants learn skills to identify and name emotions, understand emotional patterns, and develop strategies for responding in more balanced and intentional ways. Sessions include skill teaching, discussion, and opportunities to apply concepts to real-life situations in a supportive group environment.
This group is well-suited for adults 18 and older who experience strong emotional reactions, difficulty calming down once upset, or feeling a lack of control around how they feel. Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to learn alongside others, practice new skills, and build confidence in managing emotions more effectively over time
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a dedicated space to focus on your specific goals, challenges, and patterns. Sessions are tailored to what you are experiencing right now and adjust as your needs change over time. Together, we work to identify what is keeping you stuck and develop strategies that support meaningful, sustainable change.
This work may include learning ways to manage anxiety, regulate emotions more effectively, navigate difficult decisions, or respond differently in relationships. Therapy is paced collaboratively and grounded in evidence-based approaches, with an emphasis on creating tools that are realistic and applicable to daily life.
Individual therapy is well-suited for teens and young adults who want support that is thoughtful, structured, and practical, whether they are new to therapy or returning with a clearer sense of what they want to work on.
For people living in CA and CO ages 15+
Family Therapy
Family therapy focuses on improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening relationships within the family system. Rather than viewing one person as “the problem,” we look at patterns of interaction and how each family member both influences and is impacted by those dynamics. I work with families to build clearer communication, set healthy boundaries, and navigate challenging transitions—whether that’s parenting stress, conflict between family members, or supporting a loved one through mental health or behavioral concerns. Sessions are a collaborative, structured space where everyone’s perspective is valued, with the goal of creating a more stable, connected, and supportive home environment.
