Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been in practice, and what is your experience?
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both California and Colorado. I have experience providing individual, group, and family therapy since 2015. I have practiced across a range of clinical settings, including residential treatment, intensive outpatient care, and outpatient. My work has included supporting adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I use an integrative, evidence-based approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic principles, with an emphasis on building a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Do you accept insurance?
Services are private pay. I do not bill insurance directly. If requested, I would be happy to provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

How much do services cost?
I see clients virtually in both Colorado and California. Individual therapy and parent coaching sessions vary in price based on location. Group therapy is for Colorado residents only and is $690 for the eight-week curriculum.

How does billing work?
Payment is due at the time of service. All fees and policies are reviewed during the intake process.

What is group therapy like?
Group therapy is structured and skills-focused. Each session includes learning specific emotion regulation skills, discussion, and practice to apply skills to real-life situations. The group setting allows participants to learn from one another while practicing the skills in a supportive, guided environment.

Do I need to be in individual therapy to join group therapy?
No. Individual therapy is not required to participate in group therapy, though some clients choose to combine both.

Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is confidential, with standard legal and ethical exceptions related to safety and mandated reporting, which are reviewed during intake.

How do I know if therapy is a good fit for me?
A consultation call can help determine whether my approach aligns with what you are looking for and whether services would be a good fit. Please reach out to me to schedule a free 15 minute screener call.
